The first step is to assess the senior's needs. Is the senior capable of performing daily tasks, remembering to take his/her medications, and only needs help with one or two things? Perhaps s/he could use help getting in and out of the bath or holding a knife to prep foods. Your senior might benefit from an assisted living facility.
